We are a  group of journalists, communication workers and professionals  in the cultural sector.

Every day in our work we find ourselves addressing food issues and we increasingly realise the necessity of having an ongoing dialogue on the quality of information in such a sensitive field that people follow so closely.

As such, we thought that maybe we should no longer confine our discussion to just amongst ourselves.

We thought it might be time to gather our fellow journalists and communicators, by inviting them to Turin for a fixed meeting, to debate, reflect, educate and promote mutual understanding. A recurring opportunity to talk about how we are doing our job, opening the dialogue to the new “journalistic fields” and scientific research and health professions.

Thus the idea of the Festival was born: from the ground up, from passion and a sense of responsibility felt by those who provide information in a country that bases its identity and recognition throughout the world on “food consciousness”.
