Good and safe public water: the importance of correct communication

Tap water is it good to drink? Opinions are mixed, the debate is increasingly heated.

Water quality is certainly one of the elements that has the greatest impact on the identity of a territory and that qualifies a city's commitment to food safety policies. In recent times much has been done in this direction in our country.

However, there is still no perception by public opinion that tap water is comparable to commercial water. This is a demanding job, which is primarily due to communication.

The topic will be the subject, during Festival of Food Journalism, of the debate "Good and safe public water: how important is communication", scheduled for Thursday afternoon 25 February.

They will participate in the comparison Paolo Romano, CEO of Smat e Matteo Colle, Communication Manager of Cap Holding Milan, two very active companies, in their respective cities, in the promotion of public water, e Giorgio Zampetti, of Legambiente. To moderate the meeting, Claudia Apostolo, RAI journalist and editor of Tg3 Ambiente Italia.
