What the earth gives us: a Festival of Food Journalism to the rhythm of rap ...

We are not on the red carpet of Sanremo, but also on the Festival of Food Journalism will have his rapper.

Marco Richetto, aka Rayden, will indeed bring his contribution during the panel dedicated to food communication for school children, scheduled for Friday morning 26 February. Thanks to the project created byExperimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, Rayden presented rap in Italian schools "What the earth gives us" (watch the video at this link) with the aim of communicating to elementary children concepts such as sustainability, the close link between culture and food and the fight against waste.

Not only journalists, food bloggers, scientists, professors and politicians, therefore, but also a young artist who has sensitively expressed his thoughts on nutrition and the need to know and respect the environment that surrounds us, telling more small that "We are what we eat, food is not born in the dish" ... food is a gift from this planet, it should not be wasted "

Born in Turin in the 1983, Marco Richetto began his career for only 16 years. The turning point for him comes in the 2003, when, with two other rappers, he forms the OneMic. Rayden's career continues as a soloist and culminates in the January of 2014 with the publication of the Hellenic title Raydenaide.

Thanks to his rhythmic ability, accompanied by a high capacity for improvisation and a personal culture rich in literature, especially the French one, the Piedmontese rapper was able to write original and lively texts. The passion for authors such as Balzac and Baudelaire earned him the nickname of "literary rapper", and his skill has even attracted Fabri Fibra, with whom he collaborated.
