Maurizio Tropeano: agriculture, journalism and food policy

Geographer and journalist, Emanuele Bompan deals with climate change, environmental economics, energy, innovation and international cooperation, doing reportages in over 60 countries. In the 2015 he earned the title of Journalist for the Earth conferred by the Ministry of the Environment and by Earth Day Italy. Plus, he won three times the Innovation in Development Reporting and the Middlebury Fellowship once. In collaboration with Riccardo Pravettoni, he wrote an informative atlas on the complex theme of Food safety globally titled Food24 - Food Geographies. At the festival, moderate the meeting on the social benefits and the environmental footprint of the most popular nutrients (from the Mediterranean diet to the Omega 3), to the 9 on Friday 24 at the Auditorium.
