Terms of use of the mark

  1. The mark “International Food Journalism Festival Network” is property of the Food Journalism Festival organization, which grants it in free use to journalists, bloggers or other people working in the communication sector (following only Users);
  2. The concession of use of the mark occurs under the unquestionable judgement made by the Food Journalism Festival organization, after specific request;
  3. The Mark must be used exclusively to signal your own membership to the Food Journalism Festival Network and it can be used by each User to promote his/her own image and his/her professional activity in the information and food communication industry;
  4. In particular, the Mark may be preceded by captions that prove the membership to the Network and it can be placed:
    • on home pages or inside websites, blogs, social network pages and accounts owned or freely used by the User
    • on paper or videos made by the User
    • on CVs and personal presentation;
  5. It is not allowed the use the Mark for commercial or marketing purpose, it cannot be displayed during other festivals, debates, panel discussions, conferences, workshops, seminars, press conference, TV shows or different public activities. Additionally, the reproduction of the Mark on any kind of product sold by the User is not admitted,
  6. The right to use the Mark, awarded from the Festival Organization to the User, is related to the natural person, and it cannot be transferred;
  7. In using the Mark, the User must necessarily respect
    • the journalistic professional ethics, even in the in case in which he/her is not formally enrolled into the Order, available on the National Association of Journalists website
    • the Festival policy, available on the website
  8. It is forbidden to change or adulterate the Mark in any manner.
  9. The Festival Organization reserves its right to verify the continuity of the terms of use of the Mark, providing to revoke the authorization to those who will no longer be in possession of the requirements.
  10. The Festival Organization is not responsible for the contents published by the Users.
  11. The Festival Organization reserves its right to cancel - at its own unquestionable judgement – the permission to use the Mark in case of non-compliant application. Therefore, it will be send a notification, claiming its immediate suspension.
  12. Exiting the Food Journalism Festival Network involves the immediate loos of the right to use the Mark
  13. The Festival Organization reserves its right to defend, in the most appropriate moments, the Festival identity in case of improper use of the Mark.
  14. The Mark “Festival Network” can be exclusively download from the official website and it does not give the right to use the native mark “International Food Journalism Festival”.
  15. The Festival Organization reserves its right to unilaterally change the present rules, giving prompt communication through the website www.festivalgiornalismoalimentare.it.
  16. Using the Mark implies the acceptance of all the rules in this document.
