Arenzano

Through my blog Sapori in Viaggio, I deal with the dissemination of a gastronomic culture aimed at preserving those traditions that are being lost. I am an Oltrepavese, so I started from my territory to tell about those products that characterize it. Now that I live in Liguria, I am learning what is typical cuisine through friends and events who pass on their knowledge to me.

After graduating in Architecture in 2015, and after realizing that this was not the world, I left in 2017 for Florida, where I worked as a cook for a year. At the end of this experience, I took a trip between Jamaica, Peru and Mexico, to learn about a culinary tradition that is unique to me.

On my return to Italy, I alternated various seasons in Vale d'Aosta, always in the role of cook, alternating periods of intense work with gastronomic trips to Europe. My last experience in cooking dates back to 2019/2020, when I left for my adventure in Cape Town in South Africa. 

On my return, the situation was blocked, so I decided to devote myself to my two passions: the world of food and writing. Needless to say, I have never stopped since then and I can really say that I have found my way.

What I want is to share with my readers what I myself feel and discover to spread what for me is the best example of sharing and overcoming barriers. Food unites and gives emotions: this is what I want people to understand.
