We are a group of journalists, communication workers and professionals in the cultural sector.

Every day in our work we find ourselves addressing food issues and we are aware of the need for an ongoing debate.

As such, we have come to the conclusion that we should no longer border our discussions uniquely to ourselves.

We thought it could be time to gather and talk about how to do our job, enlarging the debate to new kinds of journalism, to scientific research and the health professions.

Thus the idea of ​​the festival was born from the ground up, from the sense of responsibility felt by those who provide information in a country that bases its identity and recognition throughout the world on "food consciousness".
