Educational tour, so the Festival has left bloggers and journalists with a full stomach

Tastings, tastings, lectures on food and visits to the heart of Piedmont, to discover its culinary excellence. Thus ended, last Saturday, with eight educational tours reserved for journalists, food bloggers and communicators, the first edition of the Food Journalism Festival.

Here is the list and a brief description of the tours:

Salus for ... vinum. Guests enjoyed a wine therapy at the Acqua Vitae di Camino Spa, in the middle of the Unesco hills of the Alessandria area of ​​Monferrato. Then, visit to the infernot and the Ecomuseo of Cella Monte.

Journey between truffles and wine. The passion for going for truffles was breathed in the Casa del Trifulau, in Costigliole d'Asti. Then visit the underground Cathedral of Canelli: a masterpiece of oenological architecture in the town where Asti, the most famous Italian sparkling wine, was born.

Wine Taylors. A food and wine journey in the heart of the Biella textile district, one of the most appreciated in the world, where the rediscovery of the wine sector is underway by entrepreneurs who have always been active in the textile and clothing sector.

InGorgo of rice. The unmistakable smell of gorgonzola was instead the protagonist of the tour at the Palzola dairy in Cavallirio, in the province of Novara. In the afternoon, visit to the Riso Buono company to enjoy the spectacle of the rice fields.

Coffee, water, wine and ... From a coffee tasting at the historic Caffetteria del San Tommaso 10, where Lavazza was born in the 1895, to a taste of water guided by the experts of the Smat Research Center.

Finally, all in Caluso, in one of the Maestri del Gusto artisan workshops, to discover the Salampatata.

Cooked to perfection. Visit of the Camst cooking center in Chieri, where thousands of meals are prepared every day for school canteens in the area. Then, visit two wineries of the Royal Road of Turin Wines.

Bottled in ... hill. In the heart of the Gattinara hills, tasting at the Travaglini winery, specializing in the production of the prized DOCG wine, with its bottle of elegant design and perfect for aging in the cellar. Finally, a trip to a Vercelli rice factory.

Mirroring in taste. Visit to the Luigi Guffanti Cheese Company with tasting and boat trip around the Borromeo Gulf Islands, in the splendid setting of Lake Maggiore.
