When food communication leads children to eat well

The problems related to the are increasingly relevant bad eating habits, especially for younger people. The increase in food consumption ready to cook, to the detriment of fresh foods, which require a longer preparation, and the new types of diet, which, in some cases, offer less healthy alternatives to the Mediterranean, are just some of the topics that should be studied in-depth within the school walls. Food education it must therefore assume a key role for the well-being of children.

Al Festival of Food Journalism the topic will be addressed with the panel "From pizzetta to spinach: when communication pushes children to eat well", to be held on the morning of Friday 26 February: some virtuous experiences of food communication in the schools will be told, useful to convince the little ones to eat healthy, also guiding the spending choices of families.

Participate in the debate Mariagrazia Pellerino, Councilor for Education of the City of Turin, Manila Bianchi of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta, Marina Bagni of the Ministry of Health e Marco Richetto, in art Rayden, rapper who contributed to a food education project with his song "What the earth gives us" (read here).
