23-24 and 25 February: why did we choose these dates?

How do you choose the dates of an event? Why will the Festival be in those days (23, 24 and 25 February 2017)? Legitimate questions, which are sometimes not answered. So will it be a case, a futile reason, or that of the organizers was a thoughtful and thoughtful choice? Let's be clear: this second hypothesis is correct. The Festival of Food Journalism falls in February for a variety of reasons. Let's go discover them. First, let's try to understand the context of the first edition, which took place at the end of February of the 2016. That is, alone 4 months after the experience of Expo Milano 2015, a global event that focused on the theme of food, bringing it to the center of public debate and the mass media. And Milan, perhaps still taken by the organization and by the live fire of the event, perhaps it lingered to exploit the long wave that inevitably would have been created by the event. So it was the city of the Mole that took advantage of it. And the best time to intercept part of the public of the Universal Exposition, in particular journalists and communicators who arrived in Milan in the previous six months precisely because they were interested in the food discourse, seemed to be just February. But not only: February is at the beginning of the year, a month that is still cold not only from a climatic point of view, but also from that of the "food and wine events". At this time of year there are no other major events scheduled in Italy on the topic, food tourism is just beginning again to move after the winter break and it is the perfect time for journalists and food bloggers to focus on professional updating and to start again to become familiar with experiential aspects, like the press tours. Furthermore, Piedmont and Turin offer a very suggestive image of themselves this time of year. Both from a landscape and gastronomic point of view.
