Cuki at the Festival to talk about combating waste

HIGH PHOTO Cuki Save Bag The campaigns of communication against waste and food security are among the main topics that will be addressed during Festival of Food Journalism. In particular, the debate on this issue will be lit in the panel entitled "The next day's roast", scheduled Thursday 23 February at 12, also thanks to the presence of exponents of Cuki, the leading company in the protection, cooking and preservation of food, main partner of the Festival. Cuki has been active for several years in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility projects aimed at enhance and protect food in all its phases. Between these, Cuki Save Bag, the anti-waste container to be used in the restaurant to take home the uneaten food. To launch the project, through the slogan "If you have bigger eyes than your belly, use your head" 300 Save Bag Kits have been sent to as many restaurants, including the 40 restaurants of Eataly d'Italia. With the project Cuki Save The food, the company has instead supported the activities of the program Siticibo of the Banco Alimentare Onlus Foundation, "saving" over 2 million and 500 thousand portions from company canteens and giving them to the needy, "against the waste to share the good".
