Peppino Ortoleva, from buffaloes to contemporary myths

Peppino Ortoleva (Naples, 1948) is Full Professor of Media history and theory at the University of Turin and president of the Degree Course in Communication Sciences. He has published over a hundred scientific papers on history, society and media. Moreover, he is president of Mediasfera, cultural research and design company. Last year he participated in the Festival of Food Journalism at the meeting on buffalo in the editorial office, a topic that has become hot since hot. This year, however, Ortoleva shifts - even if only slightly - its interest and at the Festival he talks with Carlo De Blasio on the topic of food fears and contemporary myths, on Friday 24 at the 11.10 at the Auditorium.
