The seventh edition of the Food Journalism Festival to be held on May 31 and June 1 at the Lingotto Congress Center focuses on the contents.

The event is unique in its kind and brings together in Turin the world of information and communication on food together with the world of research, food health, economics and politics related to food. Founded in 2016 by a group of Turin journalists and communicators, it has become, in recent years, one of the most popular places to collect news, trends, analyzes on the food universe and on a sector of journalism which, from restaurant reviews has expanded to all the major issues present in the media, demonstrating that food is a topic that crosses journalistic genres.

Many researches will be presented at the 2022 edition of the Festival.

The Festival will start with the "Media & Food" report, produced by the Eco of the Press, the leading media review and analysis company, dedicated to how newspapers and websites dealt with food in 2021 and in these first months between the recession of the pandemic and the outbreak of the war.

The Piepoli Institute, specialized in opinion polls, will present a survey to compare the supply of information on food in the media with the expectations of citizens-users.

To the scientific staff of the Masters in Food & Society of the Bicocca University of Milan the task of carrying out an analysis on the treatment by the newspapers of some macro issues that link food and society.

From the Italian association of public and institutional communication comes the second edition of the report on Infosphere and media narratives dedicated to food, created with Italiani Foundation, Media Lab of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and other research groups.

A survey on the psychology of consumption between the exit from the perception of the pandemic and the uncertainty of the future will be presented by the Monitor of EngageMinds HUB - Consumer, Food & Health Engagement Research Center of the Catholic University of Cremona.

There is also a "sentiment analysis" report on consumption projected towards the future and edited byUniversity of Turin with the Council for research in agriculture and the analysis of the agricultural economy.

Altroconsumo it will contribute by presenting the picture of the new needs of consumers with renewed ideas for conscious choices in a rethought market, describing trends that will consolidate in the months to come.

from Italian Telematic Commodity Exchange there will be an analysis of the trend in the prices of food raw materials that clearly influence the prices of consumer goods but also the autonomy of supply of our country
