The Festival and the right to correct information

The Festival is above all a great public meeting that does not want to overlap with other events that deal with the theme "information" and the theme "food". In particular, the International Food Journalism Festival is an annual event that promotes the debate on the quality of information and communication around food and food, starting from the assumption that citizens have the right to be properly informed.

The Festival is organized to encourage discussion between journalists, bloggers and communicators on improving the quality of information and communication with citizens / users / readers; the comparison between information and communication professionals with citizens and citizens' representatives to respond to the right to a correct, free and plural information in the food field; the training of journalists who deal with food-related issues in all fields of journalism and communication and through every medium and every journalistic genre (interview, surveys, video service etc.); the comparison between information and communication professionals with professions interested in the issues of safety, education, food quality; the comparison between information and communication professionals with the political, institutional and economic world to promote citizens' right to food quality; the Festival is open to everyone and is a place of free debate. Participation is not precluded to anyone by age, sex, religion, political or ethical orientation, for entrepreneurial and associative activities. The Festival seeks to guarantee an acceptable quality of the events that make up the program through the choice of the topics covered, the speakers and of the times assigned to the events.
