For the fourth consecutive year Inalpi, sponsor of the Food Journalism Festival, participated as Partner in the USSI 2019 prize organized and awarded by Subalpine Sports Journalists Group "RUGGERO RADICE".
The awards to the Piedmontese sportsmen of the year, were delivered during a crowded ceremony that was held on the morning of December 9, 2019 at Palazzo Ceriana Majneri, in Turin.
The awards are a sign of the real testimony of gratitude and appreciation towards the individual protagonists and the teams that have held high the flag of our Region, in Italy and internationally.
Inalpi, always close to the world of sport, its values and linked to the territory, was present with a corner where, in addition to the shoppers containing products, the Inalpi 2018 Social Report was distributed, to inform journalists, athletes, representatives of bodies premises and institutions, of the support policy carried out by the Moretta company.
At the buffet it was also possible to taste the Inalpi products, made from a short and certified supply chain, and the Piedmontese Inalpi PDO: Bra soft, Bra hard from the mountain pasture, Raschera and Toma Piemontese.
The Piedmont Sports Prize of the year 2019 was awarded to: Carlotta Gilli, Paralympic swimming (four golds, one silver and one bronze at the London World Championships) and to Lorenzo Sonego Tennis (ATP Antalya winner). The "Giovanni Calligaris" Special Prize saw Roberto Rossetti Uefa Referees Manager on stage. The "Marco Ansaldo" Special Prize was presented to Barbara Bonansea (Juventus Women) and Pierangelo Toniolo (Akiyama Judo Settimo Torinese). The Igor Volley Novara (Women's Champions League Volley) took home the Company of the Year title, while the Roads To Finals Prize was won by the Tennis Team Beinasco Scudetto A1 series for women. Massimo Bava (Turin FC) has been nominated Manager of the Year, while Guido Repetto, Stefano Sardara and Giovanni Paolo Terzolo received the Entrepreneurs Award for Sport.
Great Nnachi (Best Italian Cadet Pole Vault, Valeria Trucco, Anastasia Conte and Beatrice Del Pero (European Under 20 Basketball Gold), Alessia Leone (Three silvers at the Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastics) were awarded in the Youth category.
A moment of celebration, but also an occasion to celebrate sport and highlight the profound values of sacrifice and dedication that Inalpi has always been the bearer of.
