The Festival is sponsored by the MIPAAF and the Council of Ministers

The Food Journalism Festival, scheduled from February 20 to 22 at the Lingotto Congress Center, is sponsored by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and the Council of Ministers. Chaired by Minister Teresa Bellanova, the MIPAAF deals with agricultural policy, without prejudice to the competences of the Regions and autonomous Provinces, the agri-food sector, fishing and aquaculture, forests, with particular regard to food fraud and food safety. But also of the state functions and duties of agriculture and forests, hunting, feeding, fishing, production and first processing of agricultural products. It has the specific task of representing Italy within the European Commission and the European Parliament for the negotiation of the EU agricultural policy.
