Inalpi, a partner company of the Festival, awarded, together with other large Italian companies, the Welcome - Working for Refugee Integration logo - recognition conferred by UNHCR - UN Refugee Agency to industrial realities that have distinguished themselves by favoring the professional integration of refugees and for supporting their integration process in Italy.
An important project, supported by the Ministry of Labor, Confindustria and the Global Compact Network which, born in 2016, makes use of the active collaboration of the Tent Foundation and the European Commission.
The Inalpi project had already been extensively told in September 2019, in the splendid and crowded setting of the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Bra, with the presentation of the 2018 Social Report. An annual event that, in that edition, had described the initiative whose meaning was highlighted by the words of Ambrogio Invernizzi - President of Inalpi SpA - "We were often the first or the only ones to make certain choices, to undertake a company journey, sometimes introducing real innovations, other times tracing a path followed then from others. And this is precisely the meaning of the 2018 Social Report, to tell a project that we would like to become the property of other companies ".
In fact, in that document, the path that Inalpi had started at the beginning of 2018, in collaboration with the Papa Giovanni XXIII Association, was told, whose purpose was to create a real and concrete work integration for immigrant men and women, coming from difficult stories. A project that is the fruit of the conviction, more current than ever, that this is the way to testify solidarity towards others: because work is synonymous with the future, but also with life and dignity.
The certificate received therefore has an importance that goes far beyond its already significant meaning, because for Inalpi it is a further and concrete testimony of that supply chain, which lives and works daily for its territory, with commitment and passion, paying attention and supporting the growth of their community.
