Food policies for the next legislature at the inaugural Festival panel

The next government, whatever its color, must necessarily include strategic choices in its agenda on the front of the food policy. It will have to do so because the protection of the made in Italy, and therefore of the food sector, one of the excellences in Italy, brings with it undisputed benefits to large sectors of the economy and in general to the country-system. Here because the inaugural panel of the third Festival of Food Journalism, Thursday 22 February starting from the 9.30, will focus on stakeholders in the food sector. A little over a week from the elections, it will be up to them to advance their requests to the representatives of politics.

Moreover in a special year, for the sector. "2018, the year of Italian food. But what food policies for the next legislature? ": this is the title of the panel, to which illustrious guests will take part. There will be the president of Federalimentare Luigi Pio Scordamaglia, the chairman of the Scientific Committee on Agriculture Crime Gian Carlo Caselli, the president of Slow Food Italy Gaetano Pascale, the representative of Giovani Impresa Coldiretti Maria Letizia Gardoni, the president of Coop Italia Marco Pedroni, the director of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Piemonte-Liguria-Valle d'Aosta Maria Caramelli, Umberto Agrimi of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, the food and health manager of Altroconsumo Franca Braga ed Elena Di Bella representative of the Metropolitan City of Turin.
