The Beccari Hotel Institute takes care of catering

Beccaria logoThe state professional institute "JB Beccari"was born in Turin in the 1918 as a Royal Industrial Technical School for the White Art and Confectionery Industries. However, it is only from 2001 that it has expanded its training offer, also activating thehotel address. Subsequently, in the 2011, the White Art course was reorganized into "Craft Food Processing Course". The evening course for adults "Services for Food and Wine and Hotel Hospitality" is active from the 2015. At the Festival of Food Journalism he participates as a partner, for to offer visitors and guests, on both days (Thursday and Friday) the catering service. The institute operates on three sites: the main one, equipped with kitchen, hall, confectionery, bakery, mill, chemical and product testing laboratories, a restaurant and a sports hall; the branch, which includes classrooms and a computer lab; and a third minor site, with hall and kitchen workshops under construction. For the future, we are already working on the activation of new laboratories and new teaching facilities, like the laboratory of beer, that of fresh pasta and that of preserves, which will guarantee new professionalism and important skills in the field of Made in Italy for the production of high quality food. But, for the moment, the courses offered include: that of food and wine, that of the confectionery products craft and industrial, that of hall & sale, bartender, maître, sommelier, the course of tourist reception e receptionist.
