Over one thousand accredited to the Festival

Over a thousand accredited, more than 300 journalists and hundreds of food bloggers, influencers, communicators. And dozens and dozens of visitors who wanted to remain "anonymous". They are the ones who animated the second edition of the Festival of Food Journalism, whose success, compared to the previous year, is also certified - and above all - by numbers.

In fact, both the numbers of attendance and those relating to the training offer are clearly on the rise. The 300 seating of the National Library, 200 in the Auditorium Vivaldi and the 100 of the Exhibition Hall, were almost always occupied, with the halls even packed during the Sigef events that gave journalists credits. But not only: with 25 panel and 120 speakers, the Festival has - if not dubbed - at least markedly increased the numbers of a year ago.

The staff worked intensively for three days to welcome guests and speakers. All the panels were covered by social media, from Instagram to Facebook to Twitter (where the hashtag #foodfest17 has been consistently among the trend topics). On the site of the Festival, the articles were a hundred, more than ten specifically dedicated to individual meetings.

Now, while the official counts of the number of attendees of the single days, of the press tour participants and off events are still in progress, the Festival staff is already at work preparing the next year's edition. For now, we know the dates: the appointment is for the 22, 23 and 24 February 2018. The formula will be the winning one that has already characterized the first two editions. As soon as possible, new information.
