Turin, a conference to communicate milk to children

"The milk, from the field to the table" is the title of the seminar organized by the Turin Chamber of Commerce Chemical Laboratory, on Wednesday 29 May 2019, from the 9.15 to the 13.30, to the Torino Incontra Congress Center in the Einaudi Room, via Nino Costa 8.

L'initiative is part of "Milk in schools" the program of the Ministry of agricultural, food, forestry and tourism policies financed with EU funds which aims to promote the consumption of milk and dairy products among primary school students.

Mipaaft asked Unioncamere to continue the 2018-2019 scholastic year, considering the good results achieved last school year, with the involvement of over 365.000 children between the 6 and the 11 years, and more than 1.000 primary schools throughout the national territory. There Turin Chamber of Commerce, with its Special Chemical Laboratory Company, manages the project in Turin in coordination with Unioncamere.

The project, in Piedmont, is also sponsored by the Food Journalism Festival.

At the conference we will talk about milk and dairy products in various aspects, from nutritional and health, to the information on the label, the origin of the milk and the actions to promote the supply chain, but also how to carry out activities together with the children, with the aim to promote the knowledge of the supply chain, the raw material and the process that, from the field, brings this product on our tables.
