The National Federation of Orders of Surgeons and Dentists (FNOMCeO), scientific partner of the Food Journalism Festival, is a Public Law Body, which brings together the territorial Orders of Italian Doctors and Dentists and which assumes the exponential representation of the professions medicine and dentistry at national and international bodies and institutions, to protect public interests guaranteed by the legal system and connected to professional practice. Its duties are of direction, coordination and administrative support to the territorial Orders in the performance of institutional functions.
Its competence is also the approval of the Code of Medical Ethics, which identifies the rules, inspired by the principles of medical ethics, which govern the professional practice of the surgeon and dentist enrolled in their respective professional registers.
At the 2022 Festival, FNOMCeO with the Order of Turin will participate in a panel dedicated to information provided to citizens on health on Tuesday 31 May at 12:30.
Together with FNOMCeO there will be, in fact, the Order of Surgeons and Dentists of the province of Turin which is the territorial Order that monitors the autonomy and responsibility of the professions and the professional exercise; verification of the possession of qualifying qualifications for professional practice; keeping, including computerized, and advertising, including telematic, of professional registers; participation in procedures relating to planning the needs of professionals, training activities and the qualification exam for professional practice.
