Dissapore at the Festival to "communicate food with transparency and attention"

Dissapore al Festival per “comunicare di cibo con trasparenza e attenzione”

It is important to create a stable event, with an organization of journalists who take care of the contents and involve the public on the most important issues related to food communication. This is the hope of Massimo Bernardi, director of Dissapore, on the Festival of Food Journalism.

The network site Netaddiction, that "Changed the way we talk about food", is a partner of the Festival, as well as the 'social' portal iFood, “That revolves around food and its many nuances".

"I noticed how successful such initiatives could have been when, together with the University of Bologna, we organized an event to remember Stefano Bonilli, the founder of Red shrimp, which passed away two years ago " - adds Bernardi - "Serious talking about food should be a less episodic occasion, also to help those who write about this topic without having the right training".

The director of Dissapore will participate in the debate that will focus on the theme of 2.0 food and wine criticism, to propose his point of view on the dichotomy (increasingly evident but less hoped for) between paper guides and blogs. According to Bernardi, the two communication tools must not be framed in an oppositional key. "The challenge between paper and digital is in itinere"And it cannot be ruled out that they can coexist without the web necessarily dominating traditional compendia. "I would not neglect the eternal discourse between quantity and quality. In this regard, it is increasingly important to train journalists so that they can write more consciously ", Bernardi specifies.

The challenge of the Festival represents a non-trivial effort for the director of Dissapore: “Speaking with transparency and attention to food, according to health and scientific aspects. Food lives on mysteries and myths to debunk. Instead, the strong link between health, science and food must be made clear ".
