CRT Foundation to support research

La CRT Foundation supports the Food Journalism Festival.

There are several projects related to the themes that the event deals with. Luigi Somenzari, head of the research sector of the Foundation, will speak about this commitment on Thursday 20 February at 16pm.

The CRT Foundation is a private non-profit organization whose activity finds ideal roots in the philanthropic work carried out starting from 1827 by the Cassa di Risparmio di Torino. Today the Foundation has as its central objective to make available to young deserving concrete opportunities for growth and work, thanks to a broad and consolidated experience in the key sectors of culture, training and welfare.

It intervenes in the key development sectors of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta - which operationally leads to three macro-areas: Art and Culture, Research and Education, Welfare and Territory - ranging from the conservation and enhancement of artistic heritage and cultural activities to scientific research , education and training; from assistance to vulnerable social categories to civil protection; from environmental protection to the innovation of processes and institutions.

Although rooted in the territory it belongs to, it confirms its commitment to confront itself internationally and to develop effective and innovative management models.
