Michelin Guide 2020, 3 stars grow

Guida Michelin 2020, crescono i 3 stelle

The 65a edition of the Michelin Guide Italy is on sale today, in bookstores.

And the theme of evolution and the future of food and wine guides is one of the traditional themes of the Festival.

The novelty of the "red" 2020 is that the group of bearish people has continued to grow for two years: in the Michelin Guide Italy 2020 is one of the most prestigious restaurants Enrico Bartolini at the Culture Museum of Corso Tortona in Milan.

Enrico Bartolini won his first star in the 2010 at the Robinie and then in the 2011 at the Devero Restaurant, the second in the 2014. In the 2017 he arrives at the MUDEC, confirming the second star and earning today the third.

"For its variety, which harmonizes regional traditions and creativity, for the richness of its products and the excellence of its chefs, Italy shines at the center of the global gastronomic scene. 33 new starred restaurants overlook the culinary scene offering their own, personal testimony of the infinite variations of the Bel Paese kitchen. Above all, the new three-star restaurant Enrico Bartolini shines at the MUDEC, where the chef's personality stands out for research and experimentation, blending perfectly with Milan's dynamism and giving an artist's touch to the rich Italian gastronomic heritage. " says Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guides

The 11 3 stars that "worth the trip"

In the Michelin Guide 2020, the restaurants they offer a kitchen that is "worth the trip", and therefore the 3 Michelin stars, are:

Piazza Duomo in Alba (CN), Da Vittorio in Brusaporto (BG), St. Hubertus, in San Cassiano (BZ), The Calandres in Rubano (PD), Dal Pescatore in Canneto Sull'Oglio (MN), Osteria Francescana in Modena, Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, La Pergola in Rome, Reale in Castel di Sangro (AQ), Mauro Uliassi in Senigallia (AN) e Enrico Bartolini at the MUDEC in Milan.

There are two novelties among the 35 restaurants that “deserve a detour”, and therefore the 2 Michelin stars.

  • La Madernassa, in Guarene in the province of Cuneo. Chef Michelangelo Mammoliti, class 1985, proposes a cuisine that has become an essential stop on the circuit of the great restaurants of the region. The dishes express rigor, technique and precision, but the soul comes from Piedmontese tradition and products, to which are added seafood, exotic ingredients, sometimes Asian, and the products personally cultivated by Michelangelo in the restaurant's garden.
  • GLAM by Enrico Bartolini in Venice. With a lot of imagination the "fishing" card in the Rialto market and not only for fish specialties, to which are added local recipes reinterpreted by the inspiration of the chef Donato Ascani, born in 1987. His proposal is a solemn synthesis between creativity and instinct daily inspired by local ingredients with touches of the Orient and aromatic herbs from the lagoon.
