The Masters of Taste return to the Festival

I Maestri del Gusto tornano al Festival

The 2018 Food Journalism Festival will be a prestigious showcase for i Masters of Taste.
For the third year, the partnership between the event and the brand of the company is consolidated Chamber of Commerce of Turin. The Masters of Taste of Turin and Province is an initiative born in the 2002 with the aim of promote excellent products of the territory. Over time, the Masters awarded by the Chamber of Commerce have gone from fifty a year to 182 at the last edition.

Participation in the Festival pursues the goal operate responsibly in the food sector, each for his own part. As for the Festival, enhancing transparent and exhaustive information on food issues while on the front of the Masters of Taste, continuing the work of enhancing the food "good, clean and fair".
The Masters of taste are involved in the event from various points of view. Their companies will participate in the B2B, the initiative that aims to bring together professionals of communication and economic realities of the territory. Also on Thursday 22 February will be the protagonists of one of the "off" events, the aperitif of 
Palazzo Birago of Via Carlo Alberto 16 with the Masters of Taste # digital ”. Furthermore, 24 press tours will be active on Saturday, starting with Passeggiando con Gusto, the walk in the San Donato district to discover the shops in the area, passing through Chieri Gourmet, with the tasting of typical products in the city of the Cento Torri.
Many of the companies that take part in the Masters of Taste, understanding the importance of the initiative, have applied and submitted to the evaluation of the characteristics that the project foresees: the "Torinesità" estimated by the Chamber of Commerce, the health and hygiene aspects analyzed through its Chemical Laboratory and taste, a task entrusted to Slow Food.
Over the years, not only the quantity of these “creators” of taste has grown, but also the quality they express, often thanks to their participation in the project and the advice received. The dissemination activity carried out since 2002 has contributed to spreading the culture of food and food education necessary to accompany "new" citizens in a training course, oriented towards more conscious consumption.
