The fourth edition of the Festival the 21, 22 and 23 February 2019

La quarta edizione del Festival il 21, 22 e 23 febbraio 2019

We are ready. The 21 next February, in Turin, at the convention center Turin Meet, the prestigious location in the heart of the city, the fourth edition of Festival of Food Journalism.

After Terra Madre and the Salone del Gusto, the Piedmontese capital is confirmed as the Italian capital of the cultural debate that revolves around food. In fact, the Festival is now a reference point for communication professionals throughout Italy and beyond. The numbers of the 2018 edition were decidedly satisfactory, with the participation of over 1.000 people of which 450 journalists from all over Italy and abroad, 150 speakers for 31 panel, 11 press tour on the territory.

The three-day festival responds to the need for reflection, meeting and training on the hottest topics related to the world of food. For this reason, the scheduled panels will see the participation of bloggers, journalists, companies, public administration officials, food safety professionals, press offices and association representatives, to open the comparison and turn on the discussion. The underlying theme of the debate will be the quality of information, even in the face of an increasingly attentive, participatory and prepared consumer audience.

A rich program, which will alternate workshops, seminars, debates, workshops, off and educational events, aimed at both professionals and the public interested in food in its many facets.

We will talk about agri-food policies, climate change, health and food; food security, Made in Italy, counterfeiting, mafias, innovation and environmental sustainability in the food supply chain. Given the interest aroused in the previous edition, the discussion tables will be joined by i practical laboratories, this year even more numerous thanks to the collaboration with institutions, institutions and companies. You will not miss a moment B2B, inaugurated last year: an important opportunity for young freelancers to meet companies that need communication.

The third day will be dedicated to the experiences to be given to journalists and bloggers through the many gastronomic realities that constitute the excellence of the Savoy territory.

Furthermore, to bring together the different professions interested in food communication (Journalists, Doctors, Veterinarians, Biologists, Nutritionists, Agronomists, Lawyers and Food Technologists) the event will be included among those valid for the training credits of journalists and scientific professions and health.

We remind you that registrations for the Festival Network have reopened, the community that now counts over 500 food communication professionals.
