Milk in schools in Turin

The Milk in schools is managed in Turin by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Turin, in coordination with National Unioncamere.

The agreement with the Ministry foresees that the communication and promotion actions are carried out at national level directly by Unioncamere and that the education activities are carried out by the Chambers of Commerce in the role of connecting institution between the world of education and the productive world.

The objectives of the activities of each Chamber of Commerce are:

• promote the Program and its aims of raising awareness on the correct consumption of milk and dairy products, giving correct information, based on scientific evidence, on the importance both for personal health and for the local economy;
• promote knowledge of the production processes of dairy products, making them understand the value of the supply chain and bringing them closer to local producers, through playful activities of direct observation, tasting and tasting of the products in the places of production.

To this end the The Turin Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with its Special Company, the Chemical Laboratory, has organized a regional level Conference scheduled for 29 May 2019 day at the Turin Incontra Congress Center and numerous visits, organizing for school students members of the program, at farms or companies in the milk and dairy products chain.
