Third edition of the Food Journalism Festival: here is how to reach it

Terza edizione del Festival del Giornalismo alimentare: ecco come raggiungerlo

The 2018 edition of the Food Journalism Festival will take place in Turin, at Torino Incontra Congress Center of via Nino Costa 8.

A prestigious location, in the heart of the Savoy capital, a few steps from Piazza San Carlo, easily accessible by public transport and very close to the great underground parking of piazza Valdo Fusi.

For those arriving by train / underground:
From Porta Nuova station (10 minutes on foot, 5 by taxi). Exit the station on corso Vittorio Emanuele and take it in the direction of the river Po (with the station behind, to the right). At the intersection with via San Francesco da Paola turn left. Once in Piazza Valdo Fusi, take Via Nino Costa on the left.

From the Porta Susa station (30 minutes on foot). Take Via Cernaia and continue to Piazza Solferino. Continue straight on Via Santa Teresa, once you reach Piazza San Carlo, continue straight on Via Maria Vittoria. At the intersection with via San Francesco da Paola turn right, continue to piazza Valdo Fusi and then turn right into via Nino Costa.
Arriving by plane:
The shuttles connecting the Sandro Pertini airport of Caselle and Turin center (Porta Nuova station) leave every 15-30 minute (here the timetables). The ride takes about 45 minutes and the ticket costs 6,50 euros.
For those arriving by bus / tram:
The urban transport lines to reach Torino Incontri are the following: 7,9,24,33,52,67, 93 / (Madama Cristina stop), 6,18,61,68, S05, S18 (Vittorio Emanuele II stop).
For those arriving by car:
It is possible to park in the underground car park in Piazza Valdo Fusi, reachable from the main highways (A4 Turin-Milan, A5 Turin-Aosta, A6 Turin-Savona, A21 Turin-Piacenza, A32 Torino-Frejus).

Parking is within the Ztl. Visitors to the Center can also access during the closing time of the entrances (from 7,30 to 10,30 from Monday to Friday), but in this case it is necessary to report your transit by filling out the forms on the Gtt website (www.gtt.to.it).
