Venice, Nutrimenti is back with the Veronelli School

The Festival of Food Journalism is a partner of the second edition of NutriMenti - Festival of Gastronomic Culture by the Luigi Veronelli Italian High School of Gastronomy. At the headquarters of the Giorgio Cini Foundation, from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 October the knowledge of the earth and of the table will be deepened and discussed with a rich program of meetings, tastings and debates animated by personalities from the world of wine, gastronomic criticism and culture.
To open NutriMenti will be, Thursday 24, the preview presentation of the GUIDE TO GOLD WINES OF VERONELLI 2020. From 14: 30 hours, the complete editorial staff will reveal the new edition of the first guide to Italian wines. Within the Palladian Cenacle the delivery of the ten will take place Sun, special prizes awarded to as many "tales in the form of wine" representative of the competence, commitment and creativity of Italian winemakers. Guests will then be able to taste the award-winning wines, speaking with the producers and the curators Gigi BrozzoniMarco Magnoli e Alessandra Piubello.
The presentation of the short film will close the day NOT JUST FOOD! realized within the European Food Relations project, supported by the Veronelli Seminar and promoted in Italy by ACRA Foundation. Focusing on the study of new dynamics of hospitality and knowledge between different cultures, Food Relations shows how in the kitchen and at the table no one is ever really foreign.
The Festival will continue on the day of Friday October 25 with activities reserved to the Scientific Committee, the Faculty and the Partners of the Luigi Veronelli High Italian Gastronomy School.
Saturday October 26 numerous appointments will be dedicated to Italian wine excellences. It will be possible, in fact, to become "gastronomes for a day" and attend some lessons of WALKING THE VINEYARDS: PLACES, PEOPLE AND ITALIAN WINE CULTURE, the specialization course of the Veronelli High School. The teachers will speak Fabio Rizzari, authoritative signature of the wine critic who will explore territories and wine production of Sicily and Sardinia, Giuliano Boni, training manager of Vinidea, who will guide the public on an unusual journey to discover the sensory defects of wines, Ilaria Bussoni, philosopher, founder and editor of DeriveApprodi e Alberto Capatti, historian of gastronomy.
The round table will be central to the day VENICE ALL YOU CAN EAT, an event dedicated to Venice as a paradigmatic place, theater of the evolution and degeneration of cuisine and urbanity. They will discuss it Alberto CapattiRenata Codello, Architect and Director of Institutional Affairs of the Giorgio Cini Foundation, Massimiliano Borgia, Director of the Turin Food Journalism Festival, Cesare Benelli, Patron of the restaurant Al Covo, Bamba Barry, Executive chef of Sudest1401 and representative of Orient Experience, an entrepreneurial project promoted by migrants in the name of sharing, professionalism and cooking.
In a dimension of encounter between languages ​​and different disciplines, music will be an essential part of the Festival with SIXTH SENSE edited by Luca Damiani, musicologist, writer and host of Sei Gradi cult broadcast of Rai Radio 3. It will be he who will lead the participants on an ideal journey that combines musical pieces interpreted by Claudio Farinone, guitarist, author and presenter of the Swiss Italian Radio, and great wines offered in guided tasting.
The program of Sunday, October 27 will start with a focus on food communication: WRITE WITH SENSE. The "food discourse" beyond the practices of the sector press will be the subject of a comparison between Daniele Cassandro, Editor of Internazionale and Curator of the special issue Menù e Massimiliano Borgia, Director of the Turin Food Journalism Festival. 
On the XNUMXth anniversary of La Cucina Italiana and a few months after the bicentenary of the birth of Pellegrino Artusi, the round table ... AND THE ART OF EATING WELL will investigate home cooking as a "possible revolution of daily food". At 15 they will discuss about the domestic kitchen Alberto Capatti, historian of gastronomy, Maddalena Fossati Dondero, Director of La Cucina Italiana, Laila Tentoni, President of Casa Artusi, Massimiliano Borgia, Director of Food Journalism of Turin e Aldo Colonetti, philosopher and design historian.
To close the Festival will be a dialogue with Annalisa Metta, Landscape Architect and Professor of the Department of Architecture of the Roma Tre University. In EARTH, WINE AND LANDSCAPE the story of four fascinating agricultural landscapes will be combined with the tasting of four oenological masterpieces selected by the editorial staff of the Veronelli Gold Guide.
Furthermore, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October, from 11 to 17, the Palladian Last Supper of the Giorgio Cini Foundation will host the Sensorium of the Veronelli High School, tasting desk that brings together a wide representation of winemaking excellence. Guests will be able to experience the thrill of tasting in the magnificent refectory designed by Andrea Palladio, in the presence of the reproduction of Le Nozze di Cana, a masterpiece by Paolo Veronese now housed in the Louvre.
During Nutrition | Finally, the Gastronomic Culture Festival will be held sensorial focus, tastings and masterclasses by the Luigi Veronelli Italian High School of Gastronomy.
