La Pasta Armando together with the company that produces it, De Matteis Agroalimentare, participates in the Food Journalism Festival, at the Lingotto Congress Center from 20 to 22 February. CEO Marco De Matteis will speak on Friday 21 at 9 to illustrate the company's projects in favor of quality.

Their workshop is scheduled for 11 on February 21 and is titled «The elements of an excellent pasta: tasting of Pasta Armando in purity », and it is a tasting guided by a product manager, Antonio Festa, to understand the distinctive characteristics of the pasta, from the color to the hold during cooking, from the perfume to the tenacity , with an in-depth study of 100% Italian wheat in the Armando supply chain.

De Matteis Agroalimentare was born in 1993 in Flumeri (AV), and thanks to the two founding families, De Matteis and Grillo, today it makes use of a state-of-the-art industrial settlement with an annual production capacity of 150.000 tons. De Matteis Agroalimentare has progressively set its corporate philosophy on improving the quality of the national durum wheat chain. In 2011, in fact, he introduced the "Armando Pact", a real contract that the company enters directly with the farmers who undertake to sow the varieties of durum wheat agreed with the pasta factory and to cultivate them in compliance with a strict disciplinary aimed at maximum product quality and implementation of the most environmentally friendly agronomic practices. De Matteis Agroalimentare is today one of the most important players in the world market for high quality dry pasta, with exports to 43 countries worldwide. And their Pasta Armando, obtained by bronze drawing, is produced only with 100% Italian wheat from the supply chain grown on the farms belonging to the "Armando Pact".
