Casa Artusi al Festival, 200 anni dalla nascita del grande Pellegrino

In the year of celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Pellegrino Artusi, Artusi House will be at the Food Journalism Festival.

Casa Artusi is the center of gastronomic culture dedicated to Italian domestic cuisine, and during the Festival you can meet them on February 20 at 10 am with the intervention of President Laila Tentoni

Founded in Forlimpopoli, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, Casa Artusi is a live museum dedicated to cuisine which is located in an ancient convent renovated and inaugurated in 2007. It is a place open to enthusiasts and the curious, professionals and enthusiasts, scholars and researchers who want to deepen the culture and practice of domestic cooking. It is therefore a reality that contributes to the promotion of home cooking, in particular that of Romagna, and of the products of both the local territory and the Region, with its traditional specialties and its quality agro-food production. The house is named after Pellegrino Artusi, writer and gastronomy, author of the famous recipe book "Science in the kitchen and the art of eating well", the result of the knowledge acquired in numerous travels that he has made from the North to the Center of the Country . Artusi was born in Forlimpopoli on August 4, 1820, and this year the centenary of his birth is celebrated.
