Coldiretti will be at the Festival to talk about unfair practices in the agri-food chain and the strategic importance of the Mediterranean Diet.
Coldiretti with one and a half million associates is the main organization of agricultural entrepreneurs at national and European level, and for these reasons its participation in the event is important to explore many issues related to this sector.
Founded by Paolo Bonomi on 30 October 1944 as a union of small agricultural entrepreneurs, Coldiretti over the years has established itself with a widespread diffusion throughout the territory. Today he deals, among other things, with the defense of Made in Italy, training, education, research, consultancy and innovation. He deals with health and food safety, and since 2008 he has been promoting the "Campagna Amica Foundation", created to carry out initiatives aimed at fully expressing the value and dignity of Italian agriculture, making clear its key role in protecting the environment, of the territory, traditions and culture. But also of health, equity, access to food at a fair price, social aggregation and work.
