CREA brings the results of the Biotech project to the Festival

CREA, scientific partner of the Food Journalism Festival, is the main Italian research body dedicated to agri-food, with legal personality under public law, supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Tourism.

It is active in all agri-food sectors, with great attention to technological innovation and to the environmental and socio-economic sustainability of production. Spread throughout the country, 12 research centers, 6 of which are disciplinary and 6 of the supply chain. The disciplinary research centers deal with research areas transversal to agriculture, agro-food and agro-industry, food and nutrition, European and national agricultural policies, integrated with the new scenarios of the bioeconomy of rural areas. The supply chain centers, on the other hand, are assigned specific missions for the enhancement of the typical quality products of Made in Italy, but also studies and research for the sustainable management of forests and wood arboriculture.
CREA will be at the Festival with a panel in which it will present the results of the Biotech project and the sentiment analysis report of consumption projected towards the future, created by the University of Turin with its participation.
