The events off of the 2019 Festival

Gli eventi off del Festival 2019

The Festival works alongside a calendar of side events that have the dual purpose of helping socialization among journalists and bloggers participating in the Festival and allowing them to learn new things about food and beverage.
Participation is free, reserved for those accredited to the Festival. 
Here is the schedule of events off.

Thursday 21 February

 19 hours: 00

Turin Chefs Association (Via Bogino 17) - "Divine Gustar ”.

The Turin Chefs Association presents a food and wine tasting in collaboration with the Viticultural Winemakers Nizza Silvano (Santo Stefano Roero-CN), Cantina Massara-Burlotto (Verduno CN) and the Azienda Agricola Marco Capra. The producers will present their wines and the Sommellier Marco Viti of Mv Cellar.

Palazzo Birago (Via Carlo Alberto 16) - "Turin Capital of Taste - invitation to the Palace".

An aperitif organized by Chamber of Commerce of Turin and offered by Masters of Taste of Turin and its province, to talk about innovation in the agri-food sector: from Turin Capital of Taste to the appointments of the Turin Restaurant Week, up to the Turin DOC wines proposed by the Enoteca Regionale dei Vini of the province of Turin. Discovering the new mixing proposals that come from the Turin Vermouth Anselmo and other innovative excellences (theTurineis, Taggiasco Extra Virgin, the Vermouth with Erbaluce of Caluso and hemp of the Canavese, the Beermut with Beer Baladin). During the evening, the Turin - Shanghai double world premiere will also be unveiled first Italian Sakè, made with black vercellese rice from the company Gli Aironi.

 

Friday February 22

Beccari Hospitality Institute (Via Paganini 22) - "Recipes of dialogue".

Between culture, integration and food and wine, a fascinating workshop dedicated to "African recipes ", result of the project "The recipes of dialogue". An opportunity to put the hands in dough thanks to LVIA, together with the Slow Food Partners, Renken Association, Collective of cooks of African recipes, Colibrì Social Cooperative, Asbarl and Panafricando Associations, City of Turin and Piedmont Region.

Esperia Restaurant (Corso Moncalieri 1) - "Leonardo's table: a genius in the kitchen"

On the occasion of the 500 anniversary of his death, an evening to celebrate the genius, even culinary, by Leonardo Da Vinci. "Leonardo's Table" is realized by the journalist and etiquette expert, Barbara Ronchi della Rocca with the food and wine journalist Claudio Porchia in the format signed by the More News Group. After a Renaissance aperitif, a tasting menu will follow, taken from the notes of the brilliant inventor and from the cookbooks of the time.
