The Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU) It is among the businesses of the Food Journalism Festival now in its fifth edition.

At Lingotto la Sinu president, Livia Pisciotta, will attend a meeting February 20 in the afternoon dedicated to scientific communication.

The event will be an opportunity to deepen the issues related to food (and not only) with which Sinu deals, which carries out its activities through interaction with institutions, scientific societies and the mass media.

La Sinu is a scientific company nonprofit that it brings together scholars and experts from all areas related to the world of nutrition. From chemical to molecular, but also genetic, biochemical, physiological, psychological, cognitive-behavioral, clinical, technological, educational, economic, political and social aspects. Sinu is part of national and international federations of scientific societies and collaborates with research bodies, public and private institutions, and other scientific societies. It has among its main interests, for example, the genetic and molecular basis of human nutrition, the functional aspects of food and their components, but also the sports nutrition and collective, school and hospital catering. It engages in the promotion of scientific research, in the formulation of reference documents, and also in the organization of events and in information and education in the food and nutrition field.
