Health food, as has happened since the first edition, is one of the themes at the center of the Festival of Food Journalism. This year is no exception and, within the calendar, there are numerous moments in which we will deal with this theme.
We start Thursday 21 February in the panel "Can we trust you? - The protection of the health of citizens in Italy and in Europe ". An appointment that will talk about how institutions work in a sector that always needs great attention.
The cut of the panel "Information on good food practices", which will take place on Thursday afternoon, will be slightly different. Here we will focus on some "distortions" of the information system. In fact, health also passes from food choices but has to deal with false myths and lack of information: we'll talk about it with the conductor Patrizio Roversi, with the president of the Order of Food Technologists Carla Brienza and with the researcher Benedetta Raspini. A leading role, in this fourth edition of the Festival, will then recite it Umberto Veronesi Foundation, whose activity, even in the field of health food, is known.
The approach promoted by the Festival remains the same as in the past few years has made it the winning formula: to promote constant documentation among journalists and representatives of the world of information, an indispensable element for being able to "surf safely" in a world where not only the fake news, but also the lack of awareness of the experts is likely to do great damage, primarily to consumers.
