Slow Food at the Festival for food and wine trips and sustainability

Slow Food al Festival per viaggi enogastronomici e sostenibilità

Slow Food Italy it will be at the Turin Food Journalism Festival, scheduled for February 20-22 at the Lingotto Congress Center. An indispensable partner with whom to tell good, clean and fair food together.

Slow Food will speak on Thursday 20 February at 11 with Michele Rumiz of Slow Travel in the panel dedicated to food and wine tourism.

Furthermore, the participation of Franco Fassio, professor of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, is expected on Friday 21 in the panel on the sustainability of the food chain.

Slow Food is a large international non-profit association, founded in 1986 by Carlo Petrini, which is committed to restoring the right value to food, respecting those who produce, in harmony with the environment and ecosystems thanks to the knowledge of which territories and traditions are custodians locals. Slow Food works in 150 countries every day to promote good, clean and fair food for everyone.

Slow Food works all over the world to protect biodiversity, build relationships between producers and consumers, improve awareness of the system that regulates food production. In a vision that starts from the roots to get to the tables, it promotes the right to land and supports the rights of the land thanks to many initiatives that start from the Slow Food Conviviums (local associations) up to international projects.

Over the years, Slow Food has organized, among other things, the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre, the largest international event dedicated to food, and has helped found the prestigious University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo.
